Description: Considered a signature tea by connoisseurs the world over, this blend of the finest Ceylon Pekoe hails from the lush tea gardens of Ruhuna in the southern part of the island. The low elevation, combined with regular rainfall and abundant sunshine, allows the tea leaves in this region to grow considerably larger than those in the highlands. With skilled plucking, the longer leaves are rolled into their distinct curly, pellet-shaped form. When infused in boiling water, the pekoe leaves unfurl, producing a strong, full-bodied cup with exceptional character.
